Depersonalization and derealization (dp/dr) are
recurring feelings of being detached from one's own
mental processes, and/or a feeling of being detached
from one's surroundings. Depersonalization makes
one feel like they're an outside observer of their own
thoughts—as though they are on autopilot. Those
experiencing derealization feel as though they are in a
dream, even though they are aware they are not.

These documentary short films focus on real
experiences with dp/dr, and the ways in which those
with it cope.
